Which tribe will rule the great plains?
In the valley, two tribes clash for domination. To help them, they can rely on the animal world that will help them cross plains and mountains as well as invade their enemy's territory. At the head of each tribe, who will be the one who has best anticipated and planned a flawless expansion plan?
With your opponent, you each play as one of the tribes fighting for domination of the plains. To define how these will be, draw the Board tiles at random and then place them hexagonally. Each party will then have its unique game board where strategy and the good use of your resources will be your only allies for victory!
Emerge from your caves!
During the first phase of the game, you will take turns placing your caves. The starting point of your action plan may lie in the choices you make during this round ... Once each tribe has placed their 3 Cave tiles, the second phase begins.
Explore the neighboring lands!
Here you are out of your cave. Now, you have to go and occupy the surrounding land to expand! The players take turns placing a Tribe token on an empty Plain. This Plain must be adjacent to one of their Caverns or one of their previously placed Tokens.
Mobilize wild animals to fight alongside you!
Several Wild Animal spaces (Horse, Eagle or Bear) are distributed on the board. By placing one of his tokens on it, the player will collect a corresponding Animal tile which he can play during the turn he wishes. It's up to you to judge when the time is right in the game to play one of these tiles! Be careful, however, each Animal has its very specific effect: while the Horse allows you to explore the plains faster, the Eagle gives the advantage of exploring the mountains and the Bear the advantage of exploring enemy territory.
Once all the Tribe tokens have been placed, it will be necessary to decide on the domination of each Meadow. The Prairies are the adjacent Grass spaces. Whoever has the most Tokens in one wins in points the number of spaces in it. The presence of Sources in the Prairie adds 1 additional point each.
