In this merciless competition for power and recognition, only the most astute and determined will emerge victorious.

Description

Tonight, the atmosphere at the Queen's banquet is electric, as the kingdom's elite gather in a whirlwind of prestige and rivalry. In this merciless competition for power and recognition, only the most astute and determined will emerge victorious. Welcome to the Queen's Banquet, with the Courtesans game, where politics and ambition intertwine in a ballet of relentless strategies and influence games.

Courtisans is a captivating medieval card game, suitable for children aged 8 and up and can accommodate 2 to 5 players. With games lasting around 20 minutes, this game published by Catch Up Games offers a fast and dynamic fun experience, perfect for the whole family.
In Courtesans, each player plays a member of the royal court, seeking to win the king's favor by accumulating as much prestige as possible. Through a series of strategic choices and twists and turns, players must skillfully navigate court intrigues to achieve victory. A game where cunning and diplomacy are the keys to success!

On your turn you play 3 Courtiers cards, each representing one of the families of the royal court. Two of these cards are placed at your place and at an opponent's place in order to form collections. The last one is played at the queen table in order to influence each family: place a card above or below the board to give a positive or negative value to the corresponding family. The twists and turns are legion because certain Courtiers have specific roles. Spies could slip into your game and make the outcome uncertain. Unless assassins come and take away the cards that earn you the most. To get the most points and win, you will have to collect the right families while preserving their value at the queen's table.
