The Alchemists of Belcastel are now known far beyond the city's borders. Their healing skills are notorious. People in search of healing come from afar to take advantage of their skills and seek treatment for their ailments, which are often rather exotic.
Partridge eye, witch's bump, and vampirism (often misdiagnosed as a phobia of light), to name just a few of these ailments. The most famous Alchemists are called to the bedside of the most complex cases. Thanks to highly elaborate installations, they distill essences to relieve the ailments of their patients.
This distillation allows players to collect valuable bonuses and special features that grant other benefits for the rest of the game. This expansion also includes 20 new divination cards and 2 new ingredient books for Mad Cabbage.
