Welcome, traveler, to the ancestral waters of the Nile!

As many new temples are built on the shores, you begin your spiritual journey to gain the favor of the Gods. Collect precious artifacts as you cruise the Nile, gift them to monuments under construction, and the Gods will bless your journey!

On each turn in Nile Artifacts, you move your ship forward, stopping at one of the nine ports and picking up one of the artifact cards available there. You can also pick up gold, which can be used to get other artifacts or to turn around and sail the Nile in the opposite direction. Once each ship has arrived at one end of the Nile, players can make their offerings to monuments under construction, each of which requires a different type or combination of artifacts. Each time a monument is completed, players receive victory points based on the number of donations they have made for that particular monument.

When the offerings are complete, the ships return to the Nile to travel in the opposite direction and collect new artifacts. Once the monument pile is empty, the player with the most victory points wins!
