Between February 1692 and May 1693, in Massachusetts, more than two hundred people were accused of witchcraft. This case looks at that infamous period in American history when mass hysteria gripped the justice system.

This case features over 80 unique illustrations by Abigail Larson whose art beautifully captures the period. The witchcraft trial eliminates the jury and is led by an angry mob ready to hang anyone they believe to be a witch. The prosecution's goal is to hang three witnesses as witches before he runs out of cards. The defense goes out of its way to control the crowd and prevent a real witch hunt!
