In addition to the new Potion tiles that can be used with those of the base game, this extension offers new rules: Reprimand tokens and Reward tokens which allow you to accumulate bonus or penalty points; the Ghostly Cauldron board and joker marbles that allow you to change the composition of the Dispenser's Ingredients, to trigger larger chain reactions and complete more potions; and, finally, the Professor tiles which make some changes to the rules of the basic game, adding greater diversity.

The Potion Explosion base game is required to play with this expansion.
