ARE YOU AWAKE?

Beyond the veil of reality, beneath the quantifiable matter, light and energy we can detect, the gravitational and electromagnetic forces that define the universe as we know it, lies a chaotic web of energy dark called the Strange. Few suspect its existence, but for the few insiders who have discovered it, everything is different. These chosen few, the awakened ones, know that the Uncanny harbors an infinite number of recursions, unique but limited worlds, which are governed by their own laws of reality. Worlds teeming with life, incredible discoveries and fantastical treasures, but also deadly threats. Worlds whose inhabitants are sometimes jealous of ours.
The covert exploitation of these worlds attracts the brave, the daring, and the unscrupulous, but it also draws dangerous enemies from these recursions to Earth. And slowly but inexorably it calls forth the attention of beings lurking beyond the Pitfalls of Earth, entities of immeasurable power and evil from the unknown depths of the Uncanny.
