We are in 1400. You are Abelard Laveln, a knight who took the oath to Charles VI the Beloved. You live in Paris, in a family house located not far from Notre Dame Cathedral. Since your earliest childhood, you have had strange premonitory dreams in which you relive scenes of past and other crimes to come, all of them particularly violent. Over time, you learned that your extraordinary gift could be put to good use and began to solve cases that no one could solve. This has earned you a certain reputation in the city, and now, whenever a mysterious crime is committed, people turn to YOUR help.

Not only can you make your deductions from evidence you find or testimonials you get from the various characters, but also from the mysterious scenes depicted on the new Vision cards. These scenes can be from the future or the past, and usually involve characters and items that you haven't yet discovered.
