In Caverna, you play as the dean of a small clan of dwarves living in a cave. You cultivate the land around and dig deep into the rock of the mountain.

You set up dwellings in the caves to expand your clan, but also workspaces to accomplish various tasks.

It is up to you to decide how much ore you want to extract. You need it to forge weapons. These weapons will allow you to go on an expedition and thus obtain additional items and actions.

While digging up your mountain, you will sometimes discover underground lakes and ore or ruby ​​mines that will help you get rich.

Right outside the entrance to your cave, you can grow your fortune further through agriculture: clear the forest to get fields for your sowing and pasture for your animals.

The player who has developed his board the most judiciously will be the winner at the end of the game.
