Chronicles of Crime 1900 challenges players not only to skillfully collect evidence and question suspects, but also to solve certain escape game puzzles built into each storyline.
2nd part of the Millennium Series!
You are Victor Lavel, an ambitious young journalist who works for a major newspaper. We are in 1900, in the middle of the Belle Époque, and Paris is in turmoil. There are so many stories to cover, the World's Fair, the Summer Olympics, the opening of the first metro station, but as Lavel, a family famous for solving crimes since the Middle Ages, you are much more interested in murders, kidnappings and thefts. Being a journalist allows you to be among the first to know them, and your intelligence often allows you to be the first to find the author.
Chronicles of Crime 1900 challenges players not only to skillfully collect evidence and question suspects, but also to solve certain escape game puzzles built into each storyline.
Can you guess the right combination to open the safe? Will you be able to decipher an encrypted message found at the crime scene? Can you find the suspect's trail by navigating a map? It won't be easy, but if you get stuck you can ask your colleague Charlotte for help. She runs the "Puzzles and Riddles" section of your journal, so she can always give you a clue to whatever mystery is preoccupying you.
