Avignon: A Clash of Popes is a fast-paced card game of influence manipulation in which the two players are rival candidates for the office of Pope in the 14th century. Players gain influence by petitioning members of the Medieval Church, such as cardinals, nobles, and knights, and using unique character powers to draw character cards to their side of the table (their congregation), or to force an opponent to push cards towards them. The first player to bring three characters into their covenant wins.
Avignon: A Clash of Popes is played in 15-20 minutes and is suggested for ages 8 and up.
