Spirit Island is a cooperative game for 1 to 4 players in which each player embodies a Spirit of Nature, defending his island against Invaders who have no regard for the well-being of this land or its inhabitants, the Dahans.

To win, the Spirits will have to destroy the Invaders and drive out any survivors. However, if the island succumbs to Ruin, if one of the Spirits is totally destroyed or if the Invaders manage to build entrenchments, the island will be lost, just like the game.
