Description

The Old King's Crown is a card-based conquest game where you play as the heirs to a vacant throne, vying for control of an ancient kingdom reclaimed by nature. Utilize unique abilities and leverage the personality traits of your followers to outwit your opponents across a map that stretches from the towering heights of the castle to the dim light of the necropolis.

As the leader of your faction, you will openly assert your rights to the heralds and secretly position your forces, hoping to claim locations that align with your plans. However, keep a watchful eye on your rivals, for they too have agents and agendas, ready to thwart your best-laid plans.

Royalty, rebels, or cunning. Which crown will you wear?

In The Old King's Crown, players move their herald to various locations, hoping to seize them. Next, all players simultaneously play cards from their hand, face down, in different areas of the board. These cards are then revealed and resolved. Winning these confrontations earns them various rewards that improve their position and allow them to achieve the game's main objective: influence. When a player reaches a certain influence level, which depends on the number of players, and manages to maintain it until the end of a round, they win the game.
