Hex Effects is a card game featuring curses (which you must get rid of) and remedies (which cure curses but can inflict others).

In Hex Effects, deal with your four curses, but their remedies make you vulnerable to other curses!

Hex Effects is a devilishly fun card game in which a medieval amateur alchemist foolishly inflicts curses on himself. It features original illustrations and easy-to-learn gameplay.

Start by dealing four Hex cards to each player, face up, in a space in front of them called their “shadow.” The first player to cure all the Hexes in their shadow wins the game.

The remaining Hex cards are shuffled into the larger deck. Then deal four cards to each player (hidden in their hand). Start your turn by drawing two cards. You can perform two actions during your turn. If you have a Remedy card in your hand that treats one of your Hexes, you can place it on that Hex.

You are now closer to victory, but be careful! Each Remedy contains a list of side effects (other Hexes) that you may now receive from other players during their turn.

The game continues until one player has treated all the Hexes in their Shadow.
