In this expansion for Panda Spin, the panda who sat in the middle of the bamboo dons his tunic and becomes the Jade Emperor, bestowing celestial powers upon all 12 animals of the zodiac. Now, players can take a card from a trick, continue a sequence of cards played by another player, or even take a card from an opponent's hand.

To play with this expansion, at the beginning of each round, before the first player starts, reveal one of the Animal Mandate cards and place it face up near the playing area. The mandate indicated on this card can be used by any player for the duration of the round (until all but one player have withdrawn).
