In Popcorn, each player manages their own movie theater and tries to show the best combination of films to satisfy the audience. Each week, you'll be able to choose the program (new releases or premieres) and improve your theater by expanding your screens. Each film screened can trigger several game effects, which you can choose when it's shown in the theater.

The game is played over nine rounds, during which you'll have to pull off a winning streak. When the movie starts, you'll draw spectators from your bag to see who's shown up at the door.
Place spectators in the right seats to activate special powers; Match them with the right movies and you also get a movie bonus, thanks to their enthusiasm for your good taste (you can also earn money, earn popcorn, install additional spectators in your theaters, use advertising effects to steal spectators from the competition, kick out unwanted spectators, draw objective cards... among other possibilities).
