Description

Trailblazers is a simultaneous drafting trail-building game where players build their own network of hiking, biking, and kayaking trails.

Trailblazers are the brave souls who blaze and brave the trails of the great outdoors. Whether on hiking boots, bikes, or canoes, these tenacious travelers seek to feed their insatiable appetite for adventure. With a wild landscape ahead of them and a freshly blazed trail at their heels, it’s important to remember to find your way back to camp. Because there are always new environments to explore, new expeditions to undertake, and new trails to blaze.

In Trailblazers, players compete to earn the most points by building bike, hiking, and kayaking loops from their campsite on the corresponding trail type. Each turn, players are dealt eight trail cards. They draw two, place them in their personal area, and pass their hand to the next player three times. Cards must be placed next to or overlap other cards. Players can try their luck by building long and elaborate trails, but only closed loops that start and end at a matching campsite earn points. Players also compete to complete the "First to" and "Game Over" objective cards. After four rounds, the game ends and the player with the most points from closed loops and objective cards wins.
