Railroad Tiles, the sequel to the roll-and-write Railroad Ink series, is a fast-paced tile-placement game where you choose tiles and place routes to build an interconnected community.
The game is played over eight rounds. You begin each round by choosing your tiles from the available pool, then place your routes in front of you, trying to create as many connections as possible; be careful not to get stuck with overly restrictive choices. Each round, you can also place cars, trains, or passengers to populate the small landscape you create, provided you have free space on your tiles. The available actions change from round to round, so you need to plan ahead!
The more elements of the same type you manage to connect, the more points you score. You can also score bonus points at the end of the game by placing tiles in a large rectangle with no gaps and creating sets of three adjacent city tiles.
• A relaxing, competitive tile-laying game
• Railroad Ink... with tiles
